Enrichment and wellbeing at Wytham Woods

A heartfelt thank you for giving us such a genuinely enriching experience this week. To see the Year 10s thrive, talk and smile (for all their complaints and phones at points!) was absolutely brilliant and I don’t think we could have hoped for a more successful trip, especially given the weather. The Year 12s were absolutely buzzing and they’ve come back so enthused and full of ideas for changes they want to make. Indeed, they were planning a ‘reunion walk’ for next term on the bus on the way back and asking how to get permits to make sure they could do it themselves!

Secondary schools

Schools are booking groups in for day visits, or overnight camping to help them recover from the past year. A walk in the lush green woodland, camping with friends, a big dinner, campfire and marshmallows, badger watching - and some tree hugging - go a long way to supporting young minds.

There is a classroom which we use for indoor sessions if needed.

We have some spare wellies and waterproofs for those who don’t have their own.
